Auction Items and Convention Volunteers Needed

Our silent and live auctions are the only major convention fundraiser (registration fees do not cover all of our expenses). The auctions are a very popular event that gives convention attendees a chance to purchase unique items that are donated from around the country. It will only be successful with your help! Whether or not you are attending the convention, if you would like to donate an item (no matter how large or small), please contact Kim Jones at (202) 255-5091 or TripletConvention@gmail.com. Please put "Donation" in the subject line. All donations are tax deductible!

To help you solicit donations, we've included a sample "Auction Ask Letter" Auction Ask Letter for you to send to area businesses. A donation receipt is also available for those donors who request one.

In the past we have received gift cards, toys, art, household items, sporting goods, collectibles, quilts, sports tickets, even cruises and vacation rental homes! Anything goes and all is appreciated!

We are also in need of local families to volunteer before or during the convention. If you have a few hours to spare, please contact Kim Jones at TripletConvention@gmail.com. Please put "Volunteer" in the subject line.

Parents: $100 each
Accompanying adults: $75 each
Children (ages 12-18): $68 each
Children (ages 2-11): $58 each
Children under age 2: No charge (also, no food is provided)
